The Howard County Arts Council is pleased to announce two new exhibits, opening on April 14: Resident Visual Artists Exhibit 2023 and Trilogy: Glass, Paper, Stoneware.

In its 39th year at the Arts Council, Resident Visual Artists Exhibit 2023 features recent work created by artists with studios at the Center for the Arts: James Adkins, Sara Engel, Myungsook Ryu Kim, 2022-23 Emerging Studio Artist Lauren R. Lyde, Diana Marta, Joyce J. Ritter, Lisa Scarbath, Jereme Scott, Asma Ahmed Shikoh, Andrei Trach, Jamie Travers, Mary Jo Tydlacka, and David Zuccarini.

Trilogy: Glass, Paper, Stoneware is a multi-media exhibit exploring the use of color, texture and form, featuring glass objects by Michele Rubin of Washington, DC; abstract watercolors by Shanti Conlan of Houston, TX; and stoneware by Vidya Vijayasekharan.

Both exhibits will be on display from April 14– May 27, with a free public reception on Friday, April 21 from 6-8 pm

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10am- 8pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 12- 4pm.
