Resident Visual Artists Exhibit & Unfolding: Dualities | April 12-May 26, 2024
In Gallery I, our annual Resident Visual Artists Exhibit showcases recent artwork by artists with studios at the Center for the Arts: Phill Branch, Kassamira Carter-Howard (Emerging Resident Studio Artist), Sara Engel, Sherry Jankiewicz, Myungsook Ryu Kim, Diana Marta, Lisa Scarbath, Jereme Scott, Asma Ahmed Shikoh, Andrei Trach, Jamie Travers, Mary Jo Tydlacka, and David Zuccarini.
In Gallery II, Unfolding: Dualities features the artwork of John Chang and Jeffrey Repko.  By invoking calligraphic forms, Chang’s paintings comment on the distortion of language and reclaim the energy of the written word. Repko’s sculptures investigate the idea of function through a dialogue between traditional techniques and contemporary technologies.
