Ballet Theatre of Maryland premieres its ballet The Snow Queen, based on the famous Hans Christian Anderson fairytale, the inspiration for Disney’s blockbuster.

Join fearless Gerda and mountain man Kai in an epic journey to free their kingdom from the ice that has ravaged the land in an eternal blanket of winter.

Mysterious trolls, princesses, fairies, and magic come to the aid of Gerda and Kai as they battle the elements and race to save the kingdom.

This program is part of the 7th annual Take a Leap, Baltimore County Dance Celebration.
