For thousands of years, the “sister arts” of painting and poetry have jostled for primacy and danced a duet. Barry Nemett’s paintings in the Main Gallery inspired, or were inspired by poets-in particular his longtime collaborator, the late Richard Kalter. Tonight, the effervescent MICA Chair welcomes artists, writers and colleagues including Raoul Middleman and MICA President Fred Lazarus discuss the exhibit read poems by Kalter and others. 7:30pm. $6, $3 mbrs, free stus.
