This weekend I went on a New York adventure. First stop was an opening at Randall Scott’s new location in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The exhibit featured new work and a book by German photographer Thekla Ehling and glass pyrographs (drawings made by hot glass impressed onto paper) by Etsuko Ichikawa.

Randall is doing well in his new digs, although I think he might have shed a tear when I mentioned DC. Or maybe I just imagined that? He was serving beer brewed in Baltimore, so I will take that as an homage.
