November 10 – December 27, 2007 / Reception Nov. 10, 5-7pm / Artist Talk, Dec. 1, 5-7pm

Main Gallery and Installation Room- A two-part collaborative, interactive, multimedia installation that plunges spectators into the complex, visceral intersections of the dilemma of the human condition and our desire for transcendent truth. Incorporating paintings, drawings, sculptural installations, photography and video in an off-kilter, walk through environment, people will be encouraged to interact with an array of materials, including a series of wearable sculptures. In addition, the installation will continue to evolve during its run, with the final week bearing a more evolved format than the first. Volunteers are very welcome. In addition, the installation room will exhibit 20 collaborative works instigated by Alzaruba and traded off and worked upon in four cycles by selected MICA students. Website: www.alzaruba.com
