Highlandtown Holiday Celebration 2025

Let’s CELEBRATE the HOLIDAYS IN HIGHLANDTOWN! Come down to watch the annual tree lighting alongside friends and neighbors!

Enjoy family fun from 4:30 – 6:30 PM outside the Southeast Anchor Library for FREE photos with Santa, hot cocoa, churros, tunes by DJ Eddible, and live performances by Afro-Root Dance and City Ballet of MD.

Afterwards, grab dinner in the neighborhood or explore the Highlandtown’s First Friday Art Walk: when local makers and artists team up with neighborhood businesses for a night of fabulous shopping, cutting-edge artwork, pop-up vendors, performances, as well as special Art Walk discounts!

Schedule of Events:
4:30 PM Event Begins with music by DJ Eddible, Santa photos, hot cocoa, churros, and merriment!
5:00 PM Train Garden is open for visits (until 7pm)
5:30 PM Afro-Root Dance + City Ballet of MD performances
6:00 PM Countdown to Tree Lighting
6:30 PM Event wraps up…head out on the First Friday Art Walk!

Free street-parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Metered parking is available on Eastern Ave and Conkling Street (and is free after 6pm). City buses #21, #22, Navy and Blue bring you to the district.
