Print Journal

Since 2015, the BmoreArt Journal of Art + Ideas has released twice a year–each fall and spring–offering a thematic and beautiful account of art and cultural offerings in the region. Our publication focuses on in-depth storytelling, with emphasis on creative individuals and culture producers.

All of the writing, photos, art, and design are created by a team of local writers, photographers, editors and designers. Each offers a unique, authentic, and diverse perspective on Baltimore as a creative muse and environment.

Our print publication covers visual arts, fashion, design, architecture, food, film, performance, and politics and viewed through the lens of creative cultural production, essentially all of the reasons we love living and working in Baltimore!

What to Expect:

A rich visual format (8.25″ × 10.5″) built for print, the publication features in-depth, image-dense stories that explore each theme from multiple angles. All content is produced locally by writers, photographers, and designers rooted in the region.

Release Parties Twice a Year for Subscribing Members and Featured Artists

Twice a year, BmoreArt celebrates the launch of each new Print Journal issue with an exclusive release party that brings together Baltimore’s creative community. Hosted in venues that reflect the theme of the issue — from the George Peabody Library to the Walters Art Museum — these events showcase featured artists, writers, and contributors while connecting readers, supporters, and cultural partners in person.

Attendance is by invitation only, typically including Premium-level subscribers, contributors, and sponsors. Guests enjoy complimentary copies of the new issue, opportunities to meet the creative team, and time to connect with fellow artists and art lovers. These gatherings highlight BmoreArt’s mission to foster collaboration, celebrate local creativity, and create meaningful connections across the Baltimore arts community.
