Wearable Label, a solo show by Beril Bayrakdar | Show Closing

Wearable Label investigates the limitations and unlimited potential of the body through performances and performative sculptures. Metal and plastic juxtaposes the organic, ephemeral nature of the body with the industrial, enduring presence of the material. By wearing and interacting with the sculptures, the artist challenges her body and consciousness to dissolve the meanings of labels and its borders.
