BCCC March Exhibition | Critique
Baltimore City Crit Club
3500 Parkdale Avenue
Baltimore , MD 21211
Our next critique will take place Saturday March 14th at 2pm.
The closing for this exhibition will take place Friday March 27th at 7pm.
This month’s exhibition features artists from the Fox Studio Building, organized by Kristin Fuller:
All three artists are current residents at Fox Studios, and this exhibition reflects a slight shift in how we’re organizing programming this year. Rather than focusing exclusively on individual curators, we are beginning to highlight artist communities organized around the spaces where work is actually being made.
Baltimore has a long history of artist studio buildings and informal creative spaces, many of which are not always visible to the broader public. Through this initiative, we hope to connect our network with the locations where artists are actively working. Whether that’s well-known buildings like Area 405, the Cork Factory, or smaller studios tucked away in Highlandtown and other neighborhoods. Our hope is that by bringing attention to these spaces and the artists working within them, we can help strengthen and sustain them as long-term creative communities.
