Lecture by video/film artist Ericka Beckman

As part of the lively experimental music and performance downtown scene of the 80’s, Ericka Beckman has made acclaimed works with live-action choreographed sequences, animation, and fast-paced sound across Super-8mm, 16mm, and expanded cinema formats since the 1980’s. Her work has shown in many museums in the U.S. and abroad, and is in the collections of The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, Walker Art Center, Broad Museum, High Museum, Centre Pompidou, and many others.
