“Tilted Halos”, a solo exhibition by G. Pack | Opening Reception

Last Resort Artist Retreat
521 Chestnut Hill Avenue
Baltimore, MD

Charm City Cultural Cultivation is proud to announce “Tilted Halos,” a solo exhibition featuring the work of G. Pack on view in The Outpost at The Last Resort Artist Retreat from June 6th, 2026, through August 29, 2026. Curated by artist and curator Arthur Fitzhugh III, G. Pack’s solo exhibition, “Tilted Halos,” examines the duality of the human experience through introspection and cultural storytelling. Pack tells these unique stories through film, photography, fashion, watercolor, canvas, wood, and acrylic paint. While growing up in a religious family, he developed a strong desire to create a visual language that gives visibility to overlooked and marginalized narratives. Across his practice, Pack remains committed to creating emotionally honest work that reflects the complexity of identity, invites meaningful dialogue, and honors the lived experiences of black communities. His work is a catalyst for change and serves as a reminder of the value of contrast. G. Pack also studied studio art and art history at the University of Maryland. While studying abroad in Italy, he gained inspiration from the chiaroscuro techniques of the Baroque period, using light and shadow to create a sense of tension that mirrors the balance between grace and suffering. This show redefines what it means to have a full and loving relationship with oneself. Tilted Halos serves as a love letter to the human flaws that shape the character of our souls.

Please join us for the opening reception on June 6th, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
