This class will give you an introduction to the world of slip casting and mold making. Students will learn about the process of slip casting, use some pre-made casting molds, and then make molds of their own! We will learn about making sprig molds, slip casting molds out of plaster, and slump/hump molds out of bisqued clay. Each student will have at least three molds that they can keep at the end of the class session. We will also use these molds to create finished pieces! This class takes place on Thursday nights for 8 weeks.
