Quilting Foundations (2-weekend workshop)

Blue Light Junction is excited to share a new workshop series on quilting with naturally dyed fabric. 

Teaching artist, quilter, and natural dyer Rosina Saqib is offering a two-part workshop series:Alchemy of Color and Quilting Foundations.In the second part of the series, students will learn the fundamentals of quilting. 

Using either naturally-dyed fabric from the workshop or fabric of their own choosing.
We’ll gather inspiration by looking at the work of traditional and contemporary quilters and students will learn how to plan a quilt, design with squares and half-square triangles, sew a quilt block, use hand-stitching as a design element, and assemble a pillow.
