Join us for the opening reception of ART + ARCHITECTURE + LANDSCAPES – A Watercolor Journey by Jim Carr at the Community Gallery. 

With a background in both architecture and art, Jim explores the ways the built world and natural landscape interact, merge, and sometimes collide. Through watercolor, he captures fascinating compositions found in everyday environments, from the organic curves and textures of trees, flowers, and plants to the strong lines and geometric forms of buildings, boats, airplanes, and automobiles.

Inspired by his travels both near and far from home, Jim invites visitors to see familiar surroundings from a new perspective and discover the unexpected connections between nature, architecture, and the world around us.

This exhibit will be on view August 25 to September 25, 2026.
