As Tola’s Room prepares for the 2027 exhibition From Borinquen to Baltimore: Puerto Rican Players of the Baltimore Elite Giants, we want to make sure this project reflects the many people, families, and communities connected to this history. We are especially hoping to reach a diverse group of people with connections to Puerto Rican baseball, the Negro Leagues, the Baltimore Elite Giants, Black and Puerto Rican communities in Baltimore, and the broader history of baseball and migration in Baltimore during the 1930’s-1950’s.

Participants are invited to bring photographs, baseball memorabilia, family documents, newspaper clippings, or personal stories. Materials can be digitized and documented, and community members can also share oral histories or explore opportunities to contribute objects to the exhibition and archive.
