Bmore Music Picks is a weekly feature that highlights shows, concerts or events to check out in Baltimore and the surrounding area. For a more comprehensive events calendar, check out the Culture FlyShow Space, or Weekly.Citypaper.com.

Wednesday, March 11th – Moon Duo / Outer Spaces / Lexie Mountain
Metro Gallery, 1700 N. Charles St. at 8:00 PM – $12

I saw Outer Spaces at The Crown about a month ago and instantly became a fan. They’re a nice blend of noise pop and Americana. Led by Cara Beth Satalino, they’re quickly becoming one of Baltimore’s best. They did a killer Mobtown Microshow, check it out.

Saturday, March 14th – Unnatural Ways / Special People / Liz Meredith
Windup Space, 12 W. North Ave. at 5:00 PM – $5

This early Saturday evening show should be a good. I’ve heard great things about Unnatural Ways and Special People and Liz Meredith is a fantastic violin player, experimental musician and composer. Baltimore has an amazing experimental music scene and I’m not going to pretend to know a lot about it, but Liz Meredith is a gem.

Saturday, March 14th – Wing Dam / Natural Velvet / Wildfront / Slipper
Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St. at 9:00 PM – $7

Wing Dam are awesome and most Baltimore music fans know that by now. Natural Velvet recently dropped a 7″ on Girl Problem Records and I’m really excited to check it out. This show is very cheap so get your tickets ahead of time.
