Friday, August 7th – Chiffon / Wing Dam / Sherman Whips / Elon
The Crown, 1910 N. Charles St. at 9:00 PM – $8 (bands in the Blue Room as well)

This lineup is STACKED. Wing Dam is one of the best bands in Baltimore and I recently had the opportunity of seeing Elon perform to a crowd at The Crown who were all completely entranced by his unbelievably voice. Chiffon is dance-y, 80s influenced pop and are also boatloads of fun.

Friday, August 7th – Yuck / Hurry / Joy classic
Metro Gallery, 1700 N. Charles St. at 8:00 PM – $14

Yuck burst onto the indie music scene a few years back with a very distinct, 90s era college rock/grunge vibe and it was no miracle why they became so popular. With a slight departure in style on their second album, their popularity dipped a bit. This show, featuring local surf-rock band, Joy Classic, will be a fun show for a Friday night.
