Trisha Holt is a photographer and performance artist whose work focuses largely on the intersections of Surrealism, consumerism and women’s representations in social media. She uses photographic prints both as props in her performative installations, and as a means of presenting the resulting compositions. Kyohei Abe, Associate Professor of Photography in Towson University, is the founding director and chief curator of the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography. In addition to his curatorial practice, Abe’s research investigates dimensionality and structured play through the constructed photographic space. Sasha Baskin’s weaving and drawing work explores the intersection of craft and classical rendering. She uses traditional weaving and lacemaking processes in combination with source imagery from reality television to address the intersections between analog and digital technologies.
