C A R T opens Saturday, July 9, 7-10 pm at Current

Gallery Four presents ‘Cowboys and Engines’, a solo-exhibition of work from long-standing resident and founder, Dustin Carlson. With this new body of work Carlson questions our notions of ‘The American Dream’ where individual freedoms are purchased as accessories and worn in our cup-holders.

Carlson creates large multi-media works and installations informed by personal experience and guided by humor. In 2008, he began work on Bicycle Gallery, an attempt to bridge the gap between blue chip gallery and up-and-coming artists.

Gallery Four is a 10,000 sq. ft. facility featuring six live/work artist studios and a contemporary art exhibition space. Gallery Four is located in downtown Baltimore’s H&H building and is open on Saturdays from 12-5 PM.
