‘mis-steps, mistakes and other questionable actions which have lead to art objects’

EXP CONT’D is an exhibition of questionable drawings and paintings by Timothy J Horjus. This show concentrates on the the artists studio explorations as opposed to his typical body of work. The artist has found that through continued interrogation of his studio practices alongside of his body of work, he has been able to develop new directions for his work as well as create a great number of ‘bad’ paintings. In an attempt to continue to evaluate his practice the artist has chosen to exhibit these ‘questionable objects’ in order to both illuminate the workings of a studio practice as well as to call into question the logical progression of a revisionist view of an artists body of work.

Reception date: Thursday March 3rd, 7-9pm, 45 West Preston St, Baltimore, MD 21202
Exhibition dates: February 24th – March 20th. Gallery visiting hours by appointment.
