Blue Light Junction welcomes Singapore-based textile artist Sunaina Bhalla for a featured evening during its October Art Walk. Joins us for an evening centered around textiles, material, process, and exchange.

Throughout the evening, visitors will have an opportunity to encounter Sunaina’s practice through conversation, viewing selected works, demonstration, and hands-on material exploration. She will also share selected sculptural works from her Saree Project, offering visitors an opportunity to learn more about the project and its relationship to her larger practice.

6:30–7:15 PM | Artist Talk + Conversation: Sunaina will discuss her approach to making and how material and process carry knowledge, memory, and story, followed by audience Q&A.

7:15–8:30 PM | Material Play + Demonstration: Sunaina will demonstrate woodblock printing and invites visitors to try the process themselves in an informal, hands-on setting.

Guests are welcome to observe, participate, experiment, and move in and out of the experience throughout the evening.

The Art Walk continues through 9:00 PM.
