J. Jordan Bruns: “Image Building” | Talk + Reception

Cody Gallery presents J. Jordan Bruns: “Image Building,” a solo exhibition of abstract and representational works, including paintings, drawings, and assemblages. For J. Jordan Bruns, abstraction and observation are two approaches to the same task: constructing an image, piece by piece, until it holds together. Bruns is the long-time resident artist of the historic Chautauqua Tower at Glen Echo Park, Maryland. He earned BFAs in Painting and Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in Studio Painting from Indiana University.
