MMPH October Masterclass: Play Club: John Proctor is the Villain by Kimberly Belflower

In this Masterclass, we will analyze the smash hit play John Proctor is the Villain (nominated for 7 Tony awards in 2025) in a classic “book club” style. Read the play in advance, and then come prepared to discuss! Directed by MMPH Company Manager,  Eden Walker, actors will read pinnacle scenes from the play, and then Eden will lead the group in a robust discussion on the play from a directorial perspective, including casting choices, potential production concepts, and their social implications. We will also discuss the play thematically and structurally for cultural significance.

If you want the opportunity to dive deep into a great script, this is the Masterclass for you. Join us October 12 at 7:30pm at Manor Mill for a modern day Crucible!
