Come see Baltimore-based artist Edgar Reyes present his video LosVemosPronto (See You Soon) at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center as part of the citywide traveling video exhibition, I’llmeet you there, presented by Hamiltonian Artists and The Nicholson Project. In this work, Reyes explores how migration, ecology, and memory shape experiences of place, drawing on the rhythms of the D.C.-Maryland landscapes and the tension between land as refuge and land as border.
Afterward, hear from Reyes in an intimate conversation inside the Hopkins Bloomberg Center building. Refreshments will be served after the talk.
Reyes is one of many artists featured in I’ll meet you there, a collaborative public art project unfolding across Washington, D.C. The roaming art exhibition, known informally as the art truck, brings video, installation, and public-facing works into dialogue through storefront screenings, murals, and a traveling video billboard.
