Summer Potluck + Saw File Solder Race!

Join us Friday, August 21 from 6–8 PM for a little friendly competition and an end-of-summer potluck at the BJC!

Put your bench skills to the test in a race to make a ring. Saw, file, and solder your way to the finish line for a chance to win prizes. We’ll also have a free gold plating demo and a pop-up exhibition of work made by students during our Summer session. Participating in the competition is free, show us what you’ve got!

Summer students: we want to see what you made! Anyone who took a class with us during the Summer session is encouraged to drop off work at the BJC during the week leading up to the potluck. We’ll put together a pop-up exhibition of student work for the event, and photograph the work the following week before you pick it up.
