Summer 2021

Print Journal Issue 11: Comfort

By BmoreArt

Issue 11 is themed around Comfort and features a variety of artists, culture producers, and small creative businesses that have helped to create a sense of solace and safety during the pandemic. It features a photo essay of “art dogs” by Jill Fannon, quilts by Stephen Towns, paintings and sculpture by Nicole Dyer, and paintings by Se Jong Cho. We profiled first lady of Maryland, Yumi Hogan, a painter and advocate for the artists and Brittany Young, founder of B-360, an organization that teaches STEM through dirt bike culture. Issue 11 features comfort food in photos by E. Brady Robinson and vintage fashion at Milk & Ice.

The BmoreArt Journal of Art + Ideas is released twice a year–each winter and summer–and offers a thematic and image-dense account of art and cultural offerings in the region. All of the writing, photos, art, and design are created locally and offers a unique, authentic, and diverse perspective on Baltimore as a creative muse and environment.
