Zappafest:On September 19th, the city of Baltimore will dedicate a monument to the memory and cultural impact of the legendary Frank Zappa and his hometown will come together to celebrate the life and legacy of one of the most influential musicians, composers and social icons of all time. FREE Concert & Dedication featuring Dweezil Zappa and Grammy Award-winning Zappa Plays Zappa

Dedication of the Frank Zappa sculpture by Konstantinas Bogdanas on Sunday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at 3601 Eastern Avenue – the Enoch Pratt Free Library

Frank Zappas wife Gail discusses her husbands work and contributions, particularly his dedication to defending our constitutional right to freedom of speech. Gail Zappa takes questions from the audience after her talk. Following she walks with them up the street to the Zappa Memorial and Dweezils performance outside at the Enoch Pratt Southeast Anchor Library. This is a general admission, limited seating event. We suggest you arrive early for best seating. Bar is open and popcorn machine is on!
