Young Blood opens at MAP on July 18

Body as Monument presents figurative works by emerging and established artists working locally, regionally and internationally.
In the works of Mina Cheon, Steven Singer, Dominic Terlizzi, Tyrone Geter, Yerin Kim and Toym Imao, we explore the dynamic relationship between body and environment. This exhibition seeks to raise questions regarding physical, social and psychic connections between human beings and our natural, physical and virtual landscapes.
Curated by Ade Tugbiyele.
Exhibit: July 19 – August 5, 2012
Reception: July 26 from 5:30 – 7:30
