Mihaela Savu transforms aluminum duct tubes and PVC pipes into strange new shapes, drawing the viewer in with reflective surfaces and impressive craftsmanship, and giving ordinary industrial components a new identity and unexpected beauty and depth. Savu is currently pursuing her MFA in Sculpture at Maryland Institute College of Art.
