“Fantasy Machine is an experimental fashion show and pop up shop presented and curated by Meg Beck,” explains Current Space Co-Director Julianna Hamilton. “This year was the 6th iteration and included a mixture of designers who have participated many times and those who were joining for the first time. Over the years, it’s grown so much in popularity that we’ve added a second show time.”
The event hosted on October 19 at Current Space included participating designers Cassidy English, flowernames, Ruth Xu Huang, Meg Beck, Aszana, Juliana Josephine, and Soft Shell Knits. The event was animated by DJ Inner Freekling, MC Moses Leonardo, with Production Assistance from Laurel Levia.

This edition of SEEN focuses on the people who give the market its character—neighbors carrying sunflowers, friends meeting over coffee, bold personal style, families, artists, vendors, and first-time visitors crossing paths.
Creating an Urban Haven for Children and Caregivers Alike
"My goal is for the space to become a hub for families and community members in the city and beyond. I want children to have a sense of ownership and to know that this is their place. I want parenting to feel less lonely."
