Bonnie Crawford

An artist and mother, Bonnie Crawford is curious about how we learn to care for ourselves and one another. She runs an exhibition space in the shed in her backyard. In 2017 she founded Show Up Baltimore, an online calendar of local arts events that celebrates the artist-run community in Baltimore. She received an MFA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a BA in Studio Art from the University of Maryland College Park. She was awarded a prize in the 2015 Juried Exhibition at Terrault Gallery in Baltimore, MD. Recent solo exhibitions include Lying Next to a Hammer in Bed at Montpelier Arts Center, Laurel, MD, and Versions at Hillyer Art Space, Washington, DC. She was included in the two-person exhibition Adapt/Adorn with Amy Boone-McCreesh at Cody Gallery at Marymount University, Arlington, VA.
