… and a new prize I didn’t know about – the Nancy Haragan Award

The Nancy Haragan Award honors the founding director of the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance for her contributions to the cultural sector and her guidance in creating the Baker Artist Awards. This $1,000 prize is awarded annually to the Baltimore’s Choice winner who best exemplifies the creative vitality of Baltimore’s artists and the spirit of the Baker Artist Awards. This year, the Nancy Haragan Award goes to Shodekeh Talifero, pictured below.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants on the Baker Site. Congratulations to the Baker Awards people for doing such terrific work for artists in Baltimore and pulling this thing off, yet again. We know it is a LOT of work! Thank you.
