“The Nature of Things” is Ruppert’s fourth solo exhibition at C. Grimaldis Gallery. It will display the depth of Ruppert’s extended artistic investigations, experiments and philosophies. The cross-disciplinary artist will exhibit photographs, castings, chain-link sculptures, video projections and rapid prototype sculptures that are centered around the observation and inclusion of natural phenomena resulting in process-centric work. “The Nature of Things” blurs the worlds of natural and constructed through industrial materials masquerading as evidence of natural occurrences. The debut of the artist’s latest sculptures featuring a new metal mesh and new video projections will re-contextualize the artist’s oeuvre, allowing long time fans and newcomers alike to gain an understanding of John Ruppert’s complete vision.
