Mind’s Eye: A Vision of Contemporary Art by John Bodkin
Exhibition: March 6 – 31
Opening Reception: March 16 from 6-10 pm
Gallery B – 7700 Wisconsin Ave. / Bethesda, MD 20814
In Mind’s Eye, at Gallery B in Bethesda, John Bodkin’s works range from small works on paper to large oil paintings. His abstract style is free and colorful, sometimes raw and earthy. He incorporates elements of street art, spray paint entwined without concern with traditional oil paint because he “wants to speak in a voice that is central in our society.”
