Wednesday, April 8th – Soft Cat Album Release w/ Other Colors / Wheatie Mattiasich / Rod Hamilton / Tiffany Seal
Bahamas at 8:00 PM – $5
In back-to-back weeks, two of Baltimore’s best bands drop albums and celebrate their release at DIY venues. This week’s release of Soft Cat’s “All Energy Will Rise” has me really excited. I’ve decided to hold off on listening the album until I see them perform the songs live on Wednesday night. Other Colors are also a great pop band from Charm City, so get there early.

Thursday, April 9th – Rye Rye / TT The Artist / Bond St. District / Normaling
The Crown, 1910 N Charles St. at 8:00 PM – $7
Rye Rye has been on the Baltimore (and national) rap scene for a while now. She was even featured on an MIA song or two. TT The Artist has also become one of the faces of Baltimore rap so this bill is a must-see.
