YES
YES Drop-In Center is Baltimore City’s first and only drop-in center for homeless youth. YES Drop-In Center is a safe space for youth who are homeless and between the ages of 14-25, to get basic needs met and establish supportive relationships with peer staff and allies that them make and sustain connections to long-term resources and opportunities.
YES grew out of the work of the Baltimore Homeless Youth Initiative (BHYI) Youth Leaders, a group of youth with personal experiences of homelessness that formed as an arm of the BHYI Coalition to help set its direction during 2009-10. Among other priorities, they identified the need for and worked to create a comprehensive, one-stop-shop drop-in center for youth, located in a central location, and staffed by formerly homeless young adults with whom the youth could relate. The vision of the BHYI leaders was realized when YES opened its doors in October 2012.
Founded and run by formerly homeless youth and their allies, YES works to end youth homelessness in Baltimore by (1) providing urgently-needed direct services to youth experiencing homelessness, (2) developing the leadership and employment readiness of youth who have experienced homelessness, and (3) engaging in system-level reform.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM) is a not-for-profit family planning agency that provides high-quality, affordable reproductive health care for women, men and teens. Many of our patients have no other health care available to them.
Our mission is to enable all Marylanders to have access to a wide range of high quality, affordable reproductive health care services. By providing medical services, education, training, and advocacy, PPM seeks to help individuals make informed decisions about their reproductive health, family planning options, and sexuality.
PPM is firmly committed to maintaining a workplace based on our collective values, which stress the quality of our services, the importance of teamwork, and the need for all employees to treat each other with dignity, fairness, and respect. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all employees to ensure that the concepts of equal employment opportunity, non-harassment, and non-discrimination are understood, abided by, and carried out by everyone.
Reproductive health care & access to abortion are under attack like never before. We need your help to stand strong and continue to protect women’s health & rights in the new year and into the future. For generations, we have provided resources and training for struggling small-scale farmers in order to give them a chance to change their circumstances. But solving hunger and poverty on a global scale requires focus on sound, community-based work aligned with a long-term commitment to achieving self-reliance.

ACLU
The goal of the ACLU of Maryland is to make the promises of the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Maryland Declaration of Rights real for everyone in Maryland. We work in the state and federal courts, the Maryland General Assembly and local governments, and in communities across the state to realize this goal.
Each year, thousands of Marylanders request assistance from the ACLU of Maryland. Your membership helps ensure that we can respond to those calls and offer protection for those whose civil rights have been violated. An ACLU membership or a contribution** of $20, $35, $100, or even $500 from concerned Americans like you, who recognize the threats to our liberty and are prepared to resist, will help us maintain a vigorous and determined defense.
Many supporters have found leaving a legacy for civil liberties, or a gift that generates income for life, to be a fulfilling way of expressing their commitment to the ACLU. We embrace nonprofit accountability and transparency! Go to Guidestar for valuable information about the ACLU Foundation of Maryland.

HELPING UP MISSION
Helping Up Mission provides hope to people experiencing homelessness, poverty or addiction by meeting their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. The average homeless man we serve has survived two decades of substance abuse and years on the streets. He comes to us addicted, destitute, and dysfunctional — with no realistic capacity to recover on his own.
Here, the Homeless Recover. For a man in that condition, a “quick fix” doesn’t exist. Healing requires a holistic approach: To poverty, addiction, and homelessness, with a focus on long-term recovery. By God’s grace, lives are transformed as men who have suffered for years — or in many cases, decades — on the streets rise up and regain their purpose, hope, and independence. As they do, all Baltimore is blessed along with them; our community experiences healing.
Your generous gift raises up Baltimore’s most down-and-out men who are fighting against addiction and homelessness. Your gift provides food, shelter, clothing, and long-term recovery services that return 500 men to health and wholeness. Thank you for caring!
