Current Space kicked off the holiday weekend on July 3 with Ladies Night, an all-women showcase celebrating the enduring influence of women in music and the creative communities they continue to build. As the sun set over the venue’s courtyard, artists, musicians, DJs, and friends gathered to escape the sweltering summer heat, transforming the space into an energetic celebration of performance, style, and connection.
Hosted by Angie Fool and Greeyo, with genre-spanning sets by Kotic Couture, the evening featured performances by Akilah Divine, J. Aria, Illy, Folashonor, L.E.A.N., and Kay L.A. featuring Mighty Mark and TSU Terry. Throughout the night, audiences moved between the outdoor gathering spaces and the stage, cheering on each performer while reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming newcomers into the fold.
Despite temperatures hovering near 100 degrees, the crowd arrived in carefully considered summer looks that embraced both fashion and function, turning Current Space into an informal runway where bold colors, vintage pieces, statement accessories, and effortless personal style reflected the creative spirit of Baltimore’s music scene.
