On Thursday, May 28, BmoreArt hosted 300+ guests for the official release party for Issue 21 in the Brown Center at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). This event celebrated our 21st semiannual print journal themed around “The Future” — to consider the role of artists in this historic moment in our relationship with evolving technology, community, with an emphasis on the analog and the handmade. This event was designed to recognize the forward-thinking artists, makers, doers, and dreamers who make Baltimore a culturally vibrant place to live and work.

BmoreArt’s Future Issue features many of Baltimore’s highest achieving visual artists, performers, fashion designers, culinary artists, organizations, and creative professionals including cover artist Orange Grove Dance, choreographer Rashida Bumbray, visual artists Louis Fratino, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann, and Emma Childs, collector Michael Sherman, and writer Sarah Pinsker, among others — celebrating the shared success of Baltimore as a city of artists.

Continue the Celebration – THANK YOU to all of our Subscribing Members!!!

The most meaningful way to engage with and support BmoreArt (and get 2 complimentary tickets to our NEXT release party) is to become a Subscribing Member at the “Artist” Level ($100/ year) — or at the Premium or Patron level.
